new projects

I started Pereginations on Sunday and it is coming right along.

I also have been working on the sampler I got out of Just Crossstitch. I ordered the materials and floss as a kit. The colors are just gorgeous.

Iam including pictures of my babies. The white cat is Dottie and she is 5 in Sept. The siamese is Yum Yum and she is 14 in June. They are with their dolls.

I finally finished page 2 of my stitching book. I have started page 3. I have been working on Blackstone Garden and a Barn for Ralph's birthday. I have had to put my mirabilia on hold for the time being.

Istarted my Mirabella Santa as I was told Jan 1. I haven,t much to show for several hours of work. I am enjoying it very much. I put everything that I didn't finish in 08 away and will work on Mirabella, my stitch book and go back to Blackstone garden and my flower pillow.

Christmas Star

At Stitching Guild we all made a Christmas Star. At our Christmas luncheon we all brought our star and we had an exchange.

I have been working on my Christmas words and page 2 of the stitches by Jeanette Douglas. I am looking forward to starting my Mirabella Santa Claus on Jan 1.

weekend workshop

This is my page 1 Mosaic Muse completed at last.

Sharon C and I spent this last weekend in Odessa At a workshop sponsered by the Cateraque Guild. The workshop was a Poppy designed and taught by Pat Caffery. The poppy is stitched on canvas in silk threads using various strands.

The girls from the guild were very welcoming and Sharon and I had a ball. They have invited us to come and make a visit.

This is how far I have gotten on Mosaic muse. I have been working on my Lizzy Kate words. Also I have been running the roads.

This morning Fran helped me to download my new printer. Now I can print! I worked on my lizzy Kate this weekend. Cookies is almost finished. I am working on Mosaic Muse this afternoon.
